Walter White Breaking Bad T Shirt - dntstore

Walter Hartwell White (also known by his clandestine alias Heisenberg) is a fictional character in the American television drama series Breaking Bad on AMC. He was created by series creator Vince Gilligan and is portrayed by Bryan Cranston. Walter was once a promising chemist and among the founders of the multi-billion dollar company Gray Matter Technologies, but he soon left, selling his shares for $5,000 for personal reasons and becoming an unhappy and disillusioned high school chemistry teacher. After being diagnosed with Stage IIIA lung cancer, he resorts to manufacturing methamphetamine to ensure his family's financial security after his death. As the series progresses, Walter gradually becomes darker and more villainous.

Although AMC officials hesitated to cast Cranston due to his previous comedic role on Malcolm in the Middle, Gilligan cast him based on the actor's past performance in the X-Files episode "Drive", which Gilligan wrote. Cranston contributed much of his character, including Walter's back story, physical appearance, and personality traits. Gilligan has described his goal with Walter White as turning Mr. Chips into Scarface, and deliberately made the character less sympathetic over the course of the series.
Both the Walter White character and Bryan Cranston's performance have received critical acclaim. Cranston won three consecutivePrimetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, becoming the second actor to do so since Bill Cosby for I Spy in the 1960s. In the Spanish-language remake Metástasis, his character is renamed Walter Blanco and is portrayed byDiego Trujillo.

Roger Federer 'incredibly happy' as tennis star celebrates birth of his second set of twins with wife Mirka

The likelihood of Roger Federer competing at the French Open appeared to increase on Tuesday night after he announced that wife Mirka had given birth to twins.
The world No 4 had pulled out of the Madrid Masters earlier in the day in anticipation of the possible arrivals and confirmed their birth on Twitter.
He wrote: 'Mirka and I are so incredibly happy to share that Leo and Lenny were born this evening!'.

The Swiss, who already has four-year-old twin girls, said at the Monte Carlo Masters last month that he would have no qualms about missing any tournament, even the French Open, to ensure he was at the birth.
Federer said on his Facebook page: 'I’ve decided to withdraw from Madrid to be with my wife Mirka during these next few exciting weeks for our family.
'I apologise to my fans and hope to be back in Madrid next year. I’ll be training near my home, and am excited to rejoin the Tour soon!”
But with Roland Garros still 19 days away, Federer’s chances of appearing at the year’s first grand slam have surely increased, although he seems likely to miss next week’s Rome Masters.
