Poppies flow from Tower of London to honor WWI troops

A sea of red poppies is forming at the Tower of London to honor World War I's fallen allied troops.
The powerful art installation called "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red' was created by ceramic artist Paul Cummins.
It will run from Aug. 5 — 100 years since the first day of British involvement in the Great War — until Nov.11 when the last poppy is for Armistice Day.

The famous dry moat will be filled by 888,246 ceramic poppies in total, encircling the tower. Each poppy is available to buy for £25. Net proceeds plus 10% for each poppy will go to six service charities.
