- ParisCapital of France
- Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. It is situated on the Seine River, in the north of the country, at the heart of the Île-de-France region.

Flower market in Paris named after Queen on state visit
The Queen will have a flower market in Paris named after her during her three-day state visit to France.
The market will be known as Marche aux Fleurs - Reine Elizabeth II in tribute to the monarch as a special honour from the people of the French capital.
The Queen will tour the market on the final day of her trip.
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh will arrive in Paris on Thursday before travelling to Normandy for the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
The royal couple will take part in a commemorative event at the site of the invasion of Europe by Allied forces on 6 June 1944, meeting veterans and marking the sacrifices of those who liberated the continent from Nazi Germany.
The Queen will be joined by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Britain's ambassador to France, Sir Peter Ricketts, said: "I personally think this is going to have a big, big impact in France.
"The sense I get here is real excitement and pride really that the Queen is coming back for this visit.
"This is a moment full of symbolism, full of history. The Queen has a very special relationship with France.
'Huge affection'
He added: "As you know, she first came here in 1948 as Princess Elizabeth - just married - and many, many French people of my age and older remember that and feel they've known the Queen ever since because she's come very regularly, five state visits but many other visits as well.
"They know she speaks French very well, that she likes being in France and I feel there is huge affection in France for the Queen and the Royal Family.
"So there is a real warmth and affection and I think you'll feel that through this state visit."
The royal couple will be welcomed in the centre of Paris by French President Francois Hollande.
As they travel along the Champs Elysees in a limousine their route will be lined by 146 mounted members of the Republican Guard.
Later at a birthday party event for the Queen held at the ambassador's residence in Paris, British food and drink will be served to guests including World War Two veterans from France and the UK.
A state banquet in the Queen's honour will be held at Elysee Palace on Friday evening.

Rihanna Rogue perfume ad restricted due to 'sexually suggestive' image
Advertising Standards Authority says poster can only be displayed in areas where it is unlikely to be seen by children
A poster for Rihanna's
perfume Rogue has been restricted to areas where children are unlikely
to see it because of its "sexually suggestive" image of the pop star.
The poster features an image of the singer sitting on the floor with her head and shoulders leaning against a wall and her legs raised against a large bottle of perfume.
One person complained that the ad was offensive because it was overly sexual and demeaning to women and featured a "sexualised and provocative" image which was inappropriate for children to see.
Parlux Fragrances said they had received no other complaints, adding that Rihanna was known for her provocative songs and persona, which the ad sought to capture without featuring improper nudity or offensive, suggestive or demeaning imagery.
The company believed the majority of women would not consider the portrayal of Rihanna to be demeaning, but rather she was depicted as being in a position of power, as indicated by the name Rogue, which suggested "one with the courage to challenge boundaries."
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) noted that the image showed Rihanna mainly covered, and she was depicted looking directly at the viewer with a facial expression "of defiance rather than vulnerability."
It said the overall impression of the singer was one of confidence, and concluded that the ad was "unlikely to be demeaning to women or to cause serious or widespread offence."
However, it noted that the ad was not given a placement restriction and had appeared in a number of places where it was likely to be seen by children.
The ASA said: "While we did not consider the image to be overtly sexual, we considered that Rihanna's pose, with her legs raised in the air, was provocative.
"Because of this, and the fact that Rihanna appeared to be naked except for high heels, we concluded that the ad was sexually suggestive and should have been given a placement restriction to reduce the possibility of it being seen by children."
It ruled that the ad must not appear again without a placement restriction to reduce the possibility of it being seen by children.

Take me to the week end T Shirt
News:
Rihanna bares almost all in sheer, sparkly dress
(CNN) -- Rihanna's presence at Monday's CFDA Fashion Awards nearly eclipsed the ceremony itself, and she did it while wearing almost nothing at all.
The 26-year-old singer
arrived at the stylish event, held by the Council of Fashion Designers
of America, in a floor-length sparkling gown that recalled the era of
Josephine Baker.
Custom-made by designer Adam Selman, the mostly backless number shone from more than 230,000 Swarovski crystals and was accented with a baby pink feather boa, gloves and a glittering turban.
But it wasn't just Rihanna's effortless 1920s glamour that turned heads. As Selman described to Style.com,
"the dress is just fishnet and crystals and a couple of fingers
crossed." That left everything that wasn't covered by a flesh-colored
thong on full display.
"It's so naked,"
Rihanna's stylist, Mel Ottenberg, added to Style.com. "I don't know if
it's shocking -- I'm with her all the time, so my shock gauge is off --
but I told her that I thought she was ready for this dress a while ago,
and that I wasn't. I'm the prude, and I'm just catching up."
Ottenberg may still be
getting used to the revealing look, but some observers -- like fashion
magazine Vogue -- have heartily approved.

Gameover Zeus virus link to Australia as FBI moves to shut down the global bank-siphoning operation
OMPUTER users have been urged to take action against a cyber virus spreading across the globe.
The Gameover Zeus software has been temporarily held off by law
agencies but experts warn that the hackers will soon rebuild their
network and strike again. They advised installing anti-virus software and updating operating systems to the latest versions.
The virus puts data, including photographs and personal files, at risk and can lead to financial accounts being emptied.
It infects a computer when the user clicks on a link in an unsolicited email or website and steals details such as passwords which are sent to the hackers. The software can even lock the computer until an online ransom of a Bitcoin, is paid.
An international dragnet including Australia was involved in dismantled the global computer hacker network which used a sophisticated computer virus to steal millions of dollars from companies and consumers.
Gameover Zeus, which first appeared in September 2011, stole bank information and other confidential details from victims.
According to FBI investigators, the virus infected between 500,000 and a million computers in 12 countries, creating a network of “bots”’ the hackers could ``infiltrate, spy on, and even control, from anywhere they wished.’’

Wild Kisses Late Night Crushes T Shirt
News: (BBC)
For the McCann family,
the latest search for evidence about their daughter's disappearance
couldn't come soon enough. But some in the resort of Praia da Luz are
frustrated by the timing.
It is the start of the summer season on the Algarve - its busiest period of the year by far. Families and retired couples are heading from the UK to the resort of Praia da Luz - making the short journey from Faro Airport further along the coast.
Here, the population increases four-fold in the summer months, remaining popular for the same reasons it attracted the McCanns - it is compact, family-friendly and has activities to keep all ages occupied.
Children can be seen paddling in the waves and building sandcastles on the beach, all under the blazing sun.
But just up the hill a large area of scrubland has become a hive of activity with police officers inside a cordon and journalists outside.
The land is owned by a company belonging to one of Portugal's richest men and is a short distance from the centre of the village.
Many residents walking past it don't want to comment at all.

Coffee Addict T Shirt
Coffee is a brewed beverage prepared from the roasted seeds of several species of an evergreen shrub of the genus Coffea. The two most common sources of coffee beans are the highly regarded Coffea arabica, and the "robusta" form of the hardier Coffea canephora.
Oh , buy this cool 100% cotton t shirt
The latter is resistant to the coffee leaf rust (Hemileia vastatrix), but has a more bitter taste. Coffee plants are cultivated in more than 70 countries, primarily in equatorial Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
Once ripe, coffee berries are picked, processed, and dried to yield the seeds inside. The seeds are then roasted to varying degrees, depending on the desired flavour, before being ground and brewed to create coffee.
Coffee is slightly acidic (pH 5.0–5.1) and can have a stimulating effect on humans because of its caffeine content. It is one of the most popular drinks in the world. It can be prepared and presented in a variety of ways. The effect of coffee on human health has been a subject of many studies; however, results have varied in terms of coffee's relative benefit.
The majority of recent research suggests that moderate coffee consumption is benign or mildly beneficial in healthy adults. However, coffee can worsen the symptoms of conditions such as anxiety, largely due to the caffeine and diterpenes it contains.
Coffee cultivation first took place in southern Arabia the earliest credible evidence of coffee-drinking appears in the middle of the 15th century in the Sufi shrines of Yemen.
In East Africa and Yemen, coffee was used in native religious ceremonies. As these ceremonies conflicted with the beliefs of the Christian church, the Ethiopian Church banned the secular consumption of coffee until the reign of Emperor Menelik. The beverage was also banned in Ottoman Turkey during the 17th century for political reasons and was associated with rebellious political activities in Europe.
cup of coffee in the morning may pack more than just an energy boost.
More and more research is emerging to suggest that there may be several health benefits associated with drinking this dark black beverage, from helping prevent diabetes to lowering the risk of liver disease.
The consumption of coffee goes back centuries.
In 17th century England the popularity of the drink gave rise to a number of coffee houses which were dubbed 'penny universities', because with one penny a person could buy a cup of coffee and have intellectually stimulating conversations with other people.
Nowadays, with over 400 billion cups consumed every year, coffee is one of the world's most popular drinks. But what makes it special?
This MNT Knowledge Center feature is part of a collection of articles on the health benefits of popular foods. It provides a nutritional breakdown of coffee, details of the potential health benefits associated with its consumption, and any possible risks you should be aware of.
Nutritional breakdown of coffee
Calorie count
Regular black coffee (without milk or cream) has a very low calorie count. A typical cup of black coffee only contains around 2 calories.
However, if you add sugar and milk, the calorie count can shoot up.
Antioxidants
Coffee is the number one source of antioxidants in the U.S., according to researchers at the University of Scranton.
Joe Vinson, Ph.D., lead author of the study, said that "Americans get more of their antioxidants from coffee than any other dietary source. Nothing else comes close.
The authors of the study emphasize moderation, stating that only one or two cups a day appear to be beneficial.
Caffeinated and decaffeinated versions provided nearly the same levels of antioxidants.
Health benefits of coffee
The potential health benefits associated with drinking coffee include: protecting against type 2 diabetes, Parkinson's disease, liver disease, liver cancer, and promoting a healthy heart.
Coffee may protect against type 2 diabetes
Coffee may be protective against type 2 diabetes. Researchers at UCLA identified that drinking coffee increases plasma levels of the protein sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG). SHBG controls the biological activity of the body's sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen) which play a role in the development of type 2 diabetes.4
Dr. Simin Liu, one of the authors of the study, said that an "inverse association" exists between coffee consumption and risk for type 2 diabetes.
Coffee may help prevent Parkinson's disease
Researchers in the U.S. carried out a study that assessed the link between coffee consumption and Parkinson's disease risk. The authors of the study concluded that "higher coffee and caffeine intake is associated with a significantly lower incidence of Parkinson's disease.
In addition, caffeine in coffee may help control movement in people suffering from Parkinson's, according to a study conducted at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI MUHC) that was published in the journal Neurology.6
Coffee may lower the risk of liver cancer
Italian researchers found that coffee consumption lowers the risk of liver cancer by about 40%. In addition, some of the results suggest that if you drink three cups a day, the risks are reduced by more than 50%.7
The lead author of the study, Dr. Carlo La Vecchia, from Milan's Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri, said "our research confirms past claims that coffee is good for your health and particularly the liver."
Coffee may help prevent liver disease
Regular consumption of coffee is linked to a reduced risk of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), a rare autoimmune disease of the bile ducts in the liver.
In addition, coffee consumption can lower the incidence of cirrhosis of the liver for alcohol drinkers by 22%, according to a study at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program, California, USA.
The authors of the study concluded that the results "support the hypothesis that there is an ingredient in coffee that protects against cirrhosis, especially alcoholic cirrhosis.
Coffee may be good for the heart
Researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard School of Public Health, concluded that drinking coffee in moderation protects against heart failure. They defined 'in moderation' as 2 European cups (equivalent to two 8-ounce American servings) per day.
People who drank four European cups on a daily basis had an 11% lower risk of heart failure, compared to those who did not.
The authors stressed that their results "did show a possible benefit, but like with so many other things we consume, it really depends on how much coffee you drink."
Recent developments on the benefits of coffee from MNT news
Coffee may reduce stroke risk. A study monitored coffee consumption of 83,269 Japanese adults aged 45 to 74 years and found that people who drank coffee on a daily basis were at a 20 percent lower risk of stroke compared to those who did not drink it often.
High coffee intake may help against prostate cancer. According to a study published in the journal Cancer Causes and Control, men who drank four or more cups of coffee a day had 59% reduced risk of prostate cancer recurrence and/or progression than those whose coffee consumption was just one cup a week or less.
Risks
Drinking too much coffee can result in some very unpleasant adverse effects. According to a study by researchers at the University of Oklahoma, "caffeine can cause anxiety symptoms in normal individuals, especially in vulnerable patients, like those with pre-existing anxiety disorders.
In addition, "caffeine use is also associated with symptoms of depression due to either a self-medication theory, or a theory that caffeine itself causes changes in mood."
Women who plan on becoming pregnant should be cautious. Researchers from the University of Nevada School of Medicine reported in the British Journal of Pharmacology that regular coffee may reduce a woman's chances of becoming pregnant.
